Manufacturing Schedule Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduling Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate, efficient engineering design outputs and smooth running of manufacturing schedules for our factories in Dover and Hythe.

Reporting to the Operations Director, your experience in leadership, people management and the implementation of best practice processes and systems will be supported by an organisation committed to continuous improvement and investment.

Join our team as a Scheduling Manager and play a key role in optimizing our operations through effective control and scheduling practices.

What The Role Involves :

• Line management of manufacturing design team, prioritising requirements from departmental teams to schedule engineering workload.
• Oversight of all manufacturing design outputs, scheduling design time, following for adherence, checking for accuracy and completeness via the checklist process and reporting to management.
• Coordinate design team outputs with Operations Director to maximise advanced manufacturing techniques (CNC Press / CNC Panel Pender / Robot Weld Cell / 3D CAD
• Manage the Design Data Management process to ensure manufacturing outputs are transferred directly and in correct, complete formats.
• Line management of manufacturing schedule team, ensuring orders are checked against order acknowledgements and processed using the most efficient design format.
• Enable production flow where non-stock manufacture items are required, establishing delivery times in line with contract delivery dates.
• Manage the accurate and timely parts workout for manufacture including sheet metal nesting efficiency.
• Coordinate design and schedule outputs with warehouse and manufacturing teams, improving process to deliver efficient manufacturing and dispatch schedules.

About You :

• A proven track record in managing teams (ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment).
• Demonstrate initiative and decisiveness with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in scheduling or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experienced in ERP processes for manufacturing an advantage.
