CENTAUR CLS

The larger version of the CS cycle shelter, CENTAUR CLS provides weather protection for two rows of cycle stands with a 4000mm cover width. With the same aesthetically pleasing design from a symmetric barrel-vaulted roof and central-fixed radius steel support structure.

Often selected for larger schemes to form a cycle shelter compound where the site is secure or within an area of high pedestrian traffic and the overall visual impact of the structure is a consideration.

CENTAUR cycle shelters are UK manufactured by Streetspace and the all-steel framework has a hot dip galvanised finish as standard.Customisation options include colour powder coated frames and racks, bespoke laser cut logo to end frames and LED lighting.

UV protected multiwall polycarbonate roof panels with aluminium glazing system combine clean aesthetics with a long service life.The radius steel support structure has a central base plate design enabling either surface fix or subsurface ground fixings to be accommodated.

Produced in standard 4100mm and 5100mm shelter widths, CENTAUR CS provides 4000mm cover width for 20 or 24 cycles with standard ‘sheffield’ type stands. Bespoke dimensions can be accommodated including increased structure height to accommodate the CENTAUR T2 two-tier cycle rack system for high storage capacity applications.

For cycle compound configurations, CENTAUR CLS can be specified with the addition of ‘flying roof’ sections between shelters for increased weather protection.

CENTAUR CLS is manufactured in 3 standard model types; 5100mm and 6100mm module widths for 20 and 24 cycle capacities and a 6100mm width version increased to 3190mm internal height to accommodate up to 52 cycles with the two-tier cycle rack system. Custom dimensions are available to special order.

Cycle Stand Options
CENTAUR cycle stands and racks are supplied for each cycle shelter. These can be either toastrack sets mounted on steel rails for surface fixing or as root fixed stands.

Steel Finishes
CENTAUR CLS has a hot dip galvanised frame finish as standard and this is a coating that is highly durable in all environments. An optional powder coated finish can be selected from the following RAL colours together with coordinated cycle stands. Images are for illustrative purposes only.
