An impressive Sixth-Form Centre for Blackburn College

Situated in Blackburn, Lancashire, Blackburn College is one of the largest college providers of further education in the United Kingdom, offering courses in 14-sector study areas – alongside apprenticeships and employer training.

The college has undergone an extensive redevelopment programme, set in phases over a near-decade long timeframe, with one of these phases being the refurbishment of St Paul’s Building; remodelling the Blackburn College Sixth Form. Streetspace were engaged on a Design & Build project basis for a new sixth-form social space, specifying a Streetspace  ZONE Glazed Building which has transformed an underutilised undercroft to the building frontage.
