Glass walls provide excellent weather protection to canopy elevations with the same durability, minimal supporting structure and light transmission as when specified in overhead applications. These can be specified on most of our canopy structures with the structural design analysis central to whole canopy structure.
Glass canopies allow maximum light to enter the area that is being shielded with tinted glass, interlayers and pattern print specifications that can be used to increase shade where the hours of direct sunlight and cooling of adjacent buildings is desirable or a particular architectural theme is desirable.
Glass can be used flat in mono-pitch and the integrity of flat glass is well suited to low-pitch applications such as covered dining and social spaces, covered walkways, servery canopies and cycle shelters. Custom projects can specify curved glass panels and can include ‘floating roof’ spider mounting types standing off from the canopy frame.
